Collation: Paper (very similar, if not identical, to Piccard, Buchstabe P, 7:979, Mecheln 1500), fol. v + 36 + iii; 1-312; quires 1 and 2 signed in red roman numerals on the first recto in the lower right corner; evidence of quire and leaf signatures as letters of the alphabet and arabic numerals; catchwords in a noting hand in the innermost corner of the last verso.
Layout: 2 columns of 39-45 lines ruled in lead with single horizontal bounding lines that cross the gutter but do not extend into the outer margins, and single vertical bounding lines full-length; prickings along outer edge of final leaves.
Script: Written in a bâtarde script with no loops.
Decoration: 4- and 6-line opening initials blue or red with void design; 3-, 2- and 1-line initials in red; initials within the text slashed in red.
Binding: Ca. 1825 in Dutch half-Russia (calf) over pasteboard; swirled marbled endpapers.
Origin: Manuscript was copied, directly or indirectly, from a printed book, in that G.A. Bussi's dedicatory letter first appeared in the editio princeps of Leo's sermons, printed in 1470 in Rome by Sweynheym and Pannartz.
