Layout: Varies due to large number of hands, but, in general, line-ruled in pale ink or lead, 30-36 lines; other sections frame-ruled; majority of codex is in 1 column, some sections in 2 columns.
Script: Gothic; at least 5 hands, writing with varying degress of formality.
Decoration: 3-line initial in blue (fol. 13r); some 1-2-line initials, occasionally with pen flourishes, sometimes in red; some initials missing (cf. fol. 3v).
Binding: Old red velvet over pasteboards; remains of fore-edge cloth ties.
Origin: Produced in Italy in the 15th century.
