Script: Humanistic round.
Decoration: Historiated initial containing miniature of Gregory the Great (f. 1r), 5 smaller illuminated initials (ff. 4r, 41v, 54v, 86r, 146r).
Binding: Modern, white calf.
Origin: Written in Italy, second half of the 15th century.
Provenance: MS No. 95 in the monastery of Sta. Maria de Pratalea (probably Praglia, diocese of Padua) (ca. 1500). Obtained from Lucien Gougy, Paris (Sales Catalogue 164, Item No. 453) in 1903 for the White Library.
