Decoration: 1 3-line initial in blue infilled with white penwork and flanked by red and blue vinework, all on burnished gold grounds; full border on all sides consisting of flowers and acanthus leaves in blue, green, and red, with some smaller vinework details 4-panel miniature featuring portraits of the four Evangelists and their emblems, each depicted writing their Gospel accounts
The folio is heavily trimmed on all four sides, but especially at the the upper and exterior margins
