Decoration: 3-sided borders with heavy foliage; KL in gold with red or blue background; date information of text in gold, names of saints in alternating red and blue Illuminated miniatures of a sower and Libra; wine-making and Scorpio; in the border are a bird and 3 fantastical creatures
Layout: 2 main columns of 17 lines each containing half of the month; each main column divided into 4 narrower columns with the first three of these containing the date information, and the fourth containing the feast days; ruled in red and brown ink
On stub in dark red cloth case labelled September (20 x 15 cm).
