With illuminations in colors and gold. Initial letters of each strophe are decorated or historiated. The top, bottom and foredge margins are decorated with pen work in red and blue. On ff. 1r, 1v and 2r each margin has in its center a medallion with a picture of a sacred writer and a quotation concerning John.
The text is written in a gothic book-hand in black ink, 10 lines per page. Musical notation is on a red 4-line staff.
From the style, probably from the convent of Paradiese bei Soest in Westfalia in the last quarter of the 14th century. - Keyword:
