- The French text is written in littera bastarda in brown ink in 1 column. There are 1 large miniature in tempera and gold (p. 1), 2 foliate borders, 12 large watercolor drawings, drawings of coats of arms, and many illuminated initials. The rear flyleaf bears a fragment of book 10 of the Code of Justinian (Corpus juris civilis).
Bound in red morocco inlaid with dark green and elaborately tooled in gilt, probably by Padeloup le Jeune, ca. 1720.
