Written in a cursive script in at least three different hands in long lines with headings and colored initials in red. Some passages underlined in red; additional annotations appear in the margins. Written in Nuremberg in 1431 by an unrecorded scribe who signed in code by replacing every other letter with the vowel before the letter: "Explicit iste liber 3a feria prius oculi anno .xxxi. [1431] per me hbnsfn nfkdyng [hansen nekeyig?] in Nurmberg" (f. 119v); text was corrected by Frater Bartholomeus: "Anno etc .3ii. [1432] circa festum sancti Mathie, ego frater Bartholomeus ad sanctum... Title supplied by cataloger. Watermarks close to Briquet nos. 14752 and 15609. This manuscript was not included in Eric Morral's edition of 1974. Bound in contemporary calf over wood boards, remnants of two clasps, brass central and corner pieces; manuscript title label on parchment covered by a horn plate, "Von dem heiligen Land cetera vide."
