Extent: 48 leaves, bound : vellum ; 32 cm.

Note:

The original document ends on f. 42r (where the date 1543 appears), followed by signatures on 42v. Ff. 43r-48v contain endorsements in later hands, the last dated 1576.
Written in a professional rounded gothic book hand in one column, 22 initial letters painted in gold and decorated.
Ff. 1v-2r have a large historiated initial, large miniature, and coat of arms incorporating 3 severed heads. Both sides of the page-opening have decorated borders.
The leaves are in one quire sewn into a vellum wrapper, the sewing now partly perished.
In a tray case, 34 cm.
Deposited by Philip Hofer, 1967; bequeathed, 1984.
