Title from subscription on f. 34v "Carta de hidalguia de Diego Ximenez de Ençiso Vezino de la cibdad de Logrono". The text speaks of three brothers Juan, Geronomo, Diego and Gregorio.
The Spanish text is written in a gothic rotunda hand in black ink between lines and borders ruled in red. The top margin is decorated with pen-work. Major initials are in red, blue and gold.
Ff. 1v and 2r have elaborate borders incorporating miniatures, with a large historiated initial D on 1v somewhat in the style of Clovio.
Bound in modern limp vellum with 2 ties.
In a tray case, 39 cm.
