Written in an early gothic book hand in two columns in black ink with red rubrics. There are 23 large colored initials with foliate and zoomorphic decoration. Chapters begin with 2-line red and blue initials decorated with pen-work.
Written at the Cistercian Abbey of Pontigny in Burgundy.
Bound in modern oak boards with tan morocco spine and 2 clasps, stamped "C. and C. McLeish".
In a tray case, 43 cm.
