The biblical text is written in a formal minuscule hand in black ink in a central column of varying width and in a varying number of lines per page. Initial letters are in red and blue. The gloss in a smaller script is arranged in columns flanking the biblical text and between the lines. There is one illuminated initial, f. 2r. Written in Paris, or in Austria: see Light, 87-8. Bound in 13th-century brown morocco with all-over blind-stamping. In a tray case, 29 cm. Formerly MS 347 in the library of the Abbey of St. Blaise, Admont, Austria (ms. note tipped onto front flyleaf; library stamps on ff. 2, 73). Gift of Philip Hofer in honor of William A.
