Written in a majuscule script in brown ink, 13 lines per page, the initial letters of each verse in gold. The initial letters of each Psalm are decorated in colors and gold, many zoomorphically. Leaves are missing at the beginning and end. The text begins with Ps 23.6 and ends with the heading of Ps 143. About 25 further leaves are missing. Written possibly at Novgorod. Bound in 19th-cent. dark green morocco with 2 silver clasps and corners and green moire silk doublures. In a tray case, 25 cm. Bequest of Philip Hofer, 1984.
