The Greek text is written in the characteristic cursive minuscule hand of Angelo Vergezio. He worked in Paris.
There are 3 illuminated headbands and 106 miniatures of animals and monsters in colors and gold, possibly by Vergezio's daughter.
Bound in original green morocco, gilt, inlaid with red morocco. Medallions on front and back have been removed and replaced with plain vellum.
In a tray case, 26 cm.
