Flyleaves (2 at front, 2 at back) come from a ms. of the Life of Stephen the Younger by Stephen the Deacon.
Bound in early 19th-century Russian tan leather over wooden boards, gilt.
In a tray case, 27 cm.
Purchased by Edward Everett in Constantinople in 1819.
