Paginated 1-554. Date according to Kavrus-Hoffman; other opinions given in Mossay. The contents correspond to those of Vat. Gr. 461. A vellum flyleaf and another fragment of a leaf laid in come from a ms. (of the 10th century) of the martyrdom of Nazarius, Gervasius, Protasius and Celsus (BHG no. 1323). Written by one scribe in a professional medium-sized round and clear Perlschrift with inclination to the right. The writing is in black ink in 2 columns. There is one pi-shaped headpiece (p. 1), and many smaller headpieces. Initial letters are in magenta ink. Major initials are pen-ornamented. Date from palaeography and resemblance to MS Vat. Gr. 1675. Perhaps written in a monastery in Constantinople. Bound in early 19th-century tan leather over wooden boards, gilt. In a tray case, 30 cm. Purchased by Edward Everett in Constantinople, 1819. Gift of Edward Everett, 1820.
