Paginated 1-404. Many leaves are bound in the wrong order (see Boer). Pp. 1-4, 105-6, 229-32, 399-404 are palimpsest leaves, originally of a ms. of the 10th century. Written in a professional medium-sized round and clear Perlschrift with inclination to the right. The writing is in 2 columns in brown ink. Ekphonetic notation is in magenta ink. There are several small rectangular headpieces in colors, and pen-ornamented initials in magenta ink. Bound in early 19th-century tan leather over wooden boards, gilt. In a tray case, 36 cm. Purchased by Edward Everett in Constantinople, 1819. Gift of Edward Everett, 1820.
