- Written in a medium-sized professional calligraphic Perlschrift in brown ink. Initial letters are in magenta ink.
Original decoration includes rectangular headpieces and bar ornaments, and penwork around initial letters, all in gold over magenta ink.
Ff. 1 and 183 were supplied in ca. the 13th century to replace lost or worn leaves at the beginning and end of the ms.
On f. 183v are notes of births, deaths, etc., with dates in the 14th century.
There are miniatures in gold and colors on ff. 1v, 23v, 34v, 52v, 74r, 128v, 137v, 144r, 179v. These are the work of the studio of Dēmētrios Pelekasēs in Greece in the 1920s.
Bound in green velvet (now worn) over wooden boards. There were two leather and brass clasps of which one remains.
In a tray case, 28 cm.
