- The commentary in the outer usually wider column is written in a minuscule hand, 47 lines per page. The biblical text in the inner column is in a larger hand approaching gothic, 26-23 lines per page.
Written in Germany.
There are 17 illuminated initials in colors and gold, of which 3 are historiated (ff. 1r, 110v, 116r). Others have dragons and birds. Minor initials are red or blue with pen-work decoration.
Bound in contemporary deerskin over thick wooden boards. There is a vellum bookmark. See curatorial file for details of binding.
In a tray case, 35 cm.
