- The recto contains a miniature in colors and gold showing the heavenly court, the Virgin Mary between the Father and Son and with the Holy Spirit as a dove over her head, with angelic musicians, and John the Baptist, Peter, and John (?) in the foreground.
Title supplied by cataloger. The text, which is unidentified, is written in littera bastarda, and begins under the miniature on the recto: "Premierement doncques le royaulme de dieu est recommande pour sa souveraine beaute ou clarte."
Previously f. 144 or 149 of a ms. described as La Cordial (Maggs cat. no. 437, 1923).
Probably written in Poitiers (see references in Plummer).
