The Latin text is written in a gothic rotunda script in one column in black and red, with musical notation. Written by the Franciscan brother Paulus a Motha at the Monastery of the Holy Cross, Innsbruck, on 29 May 1568 (colophon, f. 30v). Bound in white pigskin with all-over blind tooling. In a tray case, 28 cm. Bequest of Dr. Frederick H. Lewis, 1951.
