Written in a gothic bookhand, possibly in Troyes, and ruled for 15 lines, calendar for 17 lines with feasts in red and black. Illustrated with 2 miniatures, ivy-vine borders, and decorated initials.
Bound in 18th-cent. re-used vellum with leather ties.
In a protective tray case, 18 cm.
Signature of "Depouilly," ca. 1800 (ff. 1r, 30, 114v); signature of Achille Genty (described as "Epîtres, Evangiles, Litanies ... " but not found in his sale, Paris, 6 Jan. 1862).
Bequest of Charles Sumner, 1874.
