Written in hybrida script in black ink with 3 historiated initials of acanthus-filled letters on gilt ground representing Christ crucified between Mary and John (f. 1r), the holy face of Christ (12v) and Mary, crowned, in 3/4 length view (31r); same pages are decorated with foliate borders of enlarged acanthus and blossoms on stems.
