Belonged to Antoine de Buz, seigneur de Villemareule, and his wife Barbe de Laon (or Louen), Nogent-l'Artaud (family births and marriages recorded, 1531-1550, ff. 195r-197r); Quaritch; bought by George C. Thomas of Philadelphia, ca. 1900; Rosenbach; bought by Richardson, in 1947.
