- Note:
- Written in a doumentary gothic hand in brown ink in long lines. The first line has tall flourished capitals, the H of Henricus being decorated with the monarch's coronet and large flowers.
The king's seal in green wax, 12 cm. in diameter, is laced through the bottom of the document with pink and white plaited cords.
Dated Westminster 12 October 28 Henry VI. The names of the clerks John Mapilton and Richard Wetton (either of whom might be the scribe) are given on the turn-up.
In a tray case, 31 x 50 cm.
