Written in several unidentified hands in a hybrida script in 21 long lines, large initials colored in blue or red with penwork flourishes, headings and some words in red, and initials stroked in red. Some instructions to rubricator still visible at the bottom of ff. 60r, 94r. Probably written in Germany. Two small diagrams in pen on ff. 14v, 15v. Vellum binding fragment visible between ff. 189v-190r. Bound in original brown calf over wood boards, clasp, rebacked. In a tray case, 18 cm. Gift of Lee Max Friedman, 1957.
