Extent: 1 leaf : vellum ; 51 cm.

Note:

The verso has a large historiated initial S showing the descent of the Spirit on the apostles; in silver and colors.
The Latin text is written in a tall gothic book hand, initial letters in blue and red with pen-work decoration. Musical notation is square notes in black on a red 4-line staff.
On stylistic grounds, probably written in Germany (Regensburg?).
Purchased with the fund for Printing & Graphic Arts given by Philip Hofer, 1957.
