Written in an angular gothic book hand, 17 lines to the page, within a Flemish-style illusionistic border of fruit, flowers, birds and insects on a gold painted ground.
On the recto is a 7-line miniature of the deposition from the cross in tempera, colored inks and gold paint.
Mounted: the verso is not visible.
Gift of Robert Lehman to the Fogg Art Museum, 1943. Transferred to Houghton Library, 1990.
