- Written in an unidentified hand, probably in mid-16th cent. Persia, in a nastaʻlīq script in red and black ink, with 4 gold-ruled columns and some decorated borders in blue, red, and gold. Contains 3 miniatures of Rustem portraying various scenes from the poem, and 5 pencil sketches, presumably blocked for additional painted miniatures.
Bound in red-brown goatskin with onlays and blind tooling, rebacked.
