- The text is written in a very large gothic rotunda hand, 5 lines per page, in black ink with red rubrics. The chant is in black on a red 4-line staff.
On the recto is a 2-line historiated initial letter "A" in burnished gold and colors, showing the Annunciation. This is continued by a part-border of leaves, animals and people.
