- Written in at least two hands, one identified as that of the nun Anna, in a gothic script in brown and red ink; majuscules in text stroekd with red and red marks at beginnings of new sections. Written at a Dominican convent probably near Baden-Württenberg.
Bound in calf with clasps; blind-tooled with a medalion of the crucifixion and John and Mary on the front and a stamp of the Virgin and Child on the crescent moon on back.
