- The Latin text is written in a Roman script in black ink in 1 column, with many mostly 2-line illuminated initials. There is musical notation on a 4-line red staff. The arms of Bishop François Dinteville appear in the illuminated border of the first leaf and on f. 146r.
The propria de sanctis include (ff. 122r-124v) St. Bercharius, founder of the Abbey of Montier-en-Der.
The scribe is named as Fr. Petrus de Ricey, OSB, in a note on f. 157v.
Bound in original brown calf with green velvet sides, brass corner-pieces and clasps and bosses with the arms of Bishop Dinteville.
In a tray case, 31 cm.
Former owners include William Bragge, FSA (exhibition label inside front board).
