In a contemporary German brown calf binding with blind tooling; remnants of a strap-and-pin fastening; in a protective tray case, 24 cm.
Belonged to the Cistercian Abbey of St. Mary of Oliva by 1636 (inscribed, f. 1); unidentified 19th-cent. French bookdealer (catalog entry pasted to inside cover); and William Gibbons Medlicott of Longmeadow, Mass.
