Seven penitential psalms, litany (including a number of Beauvais saints), and four collects, from a book of hours.
Written in northern France, for the use of Beauvais.
Four-line decorated initial with simple floral panel borders; smaller gold initials on alternating blue and dark-red ground throughout text.
In a mid-19th cent. English brown calf binding.
Inscribed (front flyleaf): "G.A.S. / MDCCCXLIII"; bookplate of John Harvey Treat, dated 20 June 1868.
Bequest of John Harvey Treat, class of 1862, 1909.
