- Written in a small neat East Syriac estrangela hand with vowels, in black ink, with rubrications, in one column, 25 lines per column.
Sections are numbered in the margin according to the usual double series. There are no indications of lections.
Date from colophon, f. 227r-v.
Quire no. 1 is lost except for the last leaf, f. 2 (which should precede f. 1). The text begins at Matt. 8.21. There are also leaves missing after ff. 44, 55, 221 (2 leaves).
Many leaves have been repaired and reattached on guards, and the volume rebound in half grained leather and cloth by Wilson & Son.
In a tray case, 22 cm.
Bookplate of former owner J. Rendel Harris with his number (7). Purchased by the Harvard Semitic Museum in 1905 (accession no. 3950).
