Written in a textualis quadrata script in 2 columns of 25 lines; 2 large historiated initials and 5 historiated borders (ff. 54v, 99r, 181v, 209r, 227v, 228r), numerous foliate borders as well as decorated initials. Written and illuminated in Alsace (Unterlinden?) Bound in original blind-stamped red deerskin, with the remains of two clasp catches. In a tray case, 32 cm. Bequest of William K. Richardson, 1951. Belonged to the Dominican monastery of Ebersheimmünster, near Strasburg (ex-libris, f. 1r); Museo Cavaleri (founded by Michele Cavaleri in 1871), Ferrara (bookstamp, f. 1r); W.H. Schab (no. 189); bought by Richardson in 1940.
