Written in a German cursive script in brown ink in 1 column, with watercolor drawings throughout of weapons, surveying equipment, baggage trains, etc. Bound in original red calf with blind tooling, with 2 clasps (now perished). In a tray case, 31 cm. Signature of Georg Albrecht Graf zu Erbach on front flyleaf, and stamps of the Gräflich Erbachisches Gesamthaus-Archiv on several leaves. Bequest of Philip Hofer, 1984.
