Written in Church Slavonic in Muscovite semiuncial bookhand in black ink on paper, with manuscript corrections in the margins in 16th-century hand. Decorated with red initials and 24 colored and gilt headpieces in simple plaitwork protected by cutout sheets of silk textile, pasted to the preceding leaf. Bound in 19th-century saffian leather with gold tooling on boards, with a fragment of the 18th-century binding on the spine with the inscription in Cyrillic, Apostol; sewn on three cords, one clasp missing, one is shelved separately. Inscription on f.162 in Cyrillic, 1773 Februa(ry). Blank pages inserted to replace missing f.583-587; f.591-595 repaired with plain paper. In box; clasp shelved in a sepatrate prefab container.
