Three-line initials in blue with white tracery on a red background with gold flourish; one- and two-line initials in blue with pink ink flourishes; and one- and two-line initials in gold on blue or red...
In a previous auction for the volume, the bishop-donor's arms were identified as those of Du Bois de Dourduff, a Breton family.
