Binding: Blind-stamped, reddish-brown calf, fifteenth-century; five metal bosses, one missing on front; triple-braided leather thong, now broken, attached to back with single pin on fore-edge of front for closure. Other decoration, ff. 1r-243v: Decorative headpieces and 7- to 8-line intials in red at major text divisions; headings, one-line initials in red. Layout, ff. 1r-243v: 21 long lines, ruled in hard point.
