Layout: Written in 18 long lines; ruled in lead with single inner and outer vertical bounding lines top to bottom.
Script: Gothic textualis.
Decoration: Illuminated initials with bar extensions in burnished gold or blue, with red or blue pen flourishes, one decorated with a human face (fol. b, recto); 1-line illuminated initials in burnished gold flourished with blue or blue flourished with red.
Origin: Written and illuminated in France, ca. 1260.
Gift of Milton and Gail Fischmann, 1962.
